help! iPhone 4S not syncing with Exchange server

A few days ago my iPhone 4S stopped syncing correctly with our Exchange server at work. Deleted/moved emails are still showing up in the inbox on my iPhone. Example: My laptop shows 18 emails in my inbox, my iPhone shows 79.

My IT department is stumped. All of my software is up to date.

Any help would be appreciated.
