I have a MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1.7. I have no problem with any websites or logging onto any site except one, AT&T Online Account Management. I know it is my computer/browser since I can log in with my wife's MacBook Air and my two Windows machines but for some reason I am getting an error message when trying to log into this page. What am I missing? I have cleared the cache, restarted the computer, etc. but still no luck.

You forgot to tell us what error message you're getting.

It is an AT&T error message - LU013: A temporary system error prevents us from logging you in. To try again, close your browser window, and then open a new one.

Have you tried a different browser? Firefox, Chrome, and Opera are all free. I occasionally run into sites that are allergic to one of them for some random reason.

I am sure another browser will work. Why won't this? Very odd and random indeed.

How are the cookie settings configured on this machine compared to the ones that let you log in? What happens if you delete AT&T cookies?

You did it! I removed the cookies for att.com, tried logging in again, and it works! Thank you!
