I gave my wife an Iphone- she set up her itunes account. The phone was dropping battery life like crazy. After one hr of full charge it died, zippo, nadda.

The apple store gave her a new phone , we restored the back up from her itunes account. Same thing happened again to the phone. We went back to the apple store and they again gave her a new phone and instructed her not to use the old itunes account as the backed up data was somehow corrupt. This solved the phone problems.

My question is, is there a way for my wife to log into her original itunes account without the phone being attached and do a full and complete system wipe that would bring the itunes account back to ground zero aka brand spankin new for her to use this account without the risk of putting the corrupt data back on her phone? She has manually re entered her contacts and mail settings.

I have seen posts on deleting music libraries but nothing that would encompass a full wipe of the itunes account.
