Apple has a long history of suing everyone for just about any reason one can think of. In many circles I am in because of Apple's many court cases I am often asked if Apple makes more money from their legal department or selling their products. For this reason is seems to uninformed if one calls someone else's comments stupidity.

Do you ever ask such people if they are capable of performing basic arithmetic operations? Apple is and has been a publicly traded company for decades. There is no mystery of where they get their revenue except for the hopelessly numerically ignorant. As Apple critics (or simply haters) they certainly get to choose their own opinions, but they don't get to choose their own facts.

No, it really isn't uninformed to call someone who seriously believes a corporation like Apple would make "more money from their legal department" than selling actual products an ignorant fool.

Corporations are legally required to protect their patents. It's not as if Apple—or any similar corporation—gets a choice.

After checking out their website, this thing appears to be more catered to Android. They show nothing for iOS support, except the gaming picture shown above.

I think they meant to call this - "Turn your Android phone into a MacBook Air wannabe..."

Apple is most assuredly going to sue, as others have stated herein -- but I don't think that's what will ultimately kill the Clambook: the price will do them in. I mean, look at the thing: It's practically a full fledged laptop. I fully expect the price to exceed that of the iPhone itself by a large enough margin, that pretty much nobody is going to buy it.

I have to agree this may garner more than a little attention from Apple's attorneys...

Buy 'em now. Whether they are sued out of existence or they stop making them because it is a phenomenally stupid idea (Wow, new laptop? No, new docking station for my iPhone. Weighs as much as a MBA and takes up the same amount of space. I just try to ignore that annoying little dock thing I've already lost twice.) they will be gone, soon...

Look for 'em on eBay, right next to the HP TouchPads...
