Hi

Does anyone know what is that black-filled, floating tab/pop-up doing on the Desktop? How to remove it?

Superficially? It looks like you've got some kind of 3rd-party product displaying the name of your desktop image. Check Activity Monitor to see if you can identify any likely-looking programs running.

It looks like you've enabled VoiceOver - the built-in screen reader. That box shows the "visual" equivalent of whatever VoiceOver is currently reading. To turn it off, hit Command-F5, or go to System Preferences > Universal Access > VoiceOver > Off.
