"Like many parts of Find My Friends, this is one part creepy, two parts useful."

Flip that statement around and it will be more accurate... to me.

The "Temporary Events" option takes 100% of the creepiness out of it...hit a festival or street fair with a bunch of friends or family, and when everyone adds each other for a few hour window...boom, no wasted time wondering around trying to find people, trying to locate each other by phone, or needing weird "emergency" meeting points.

Worked pretty well at Coachella for us...

Can you geofence people that are on the same Apple ID. I know I can see them on Find my iPhone, but can I geofence them?

If they show up as a contact in FMF, yes.

I actually like it because you have to accept friends in order for that info to be shared. I like the fact that when my daughter gets her iPhone I'll be able to use it as a homing device. Nope, as a parent I love the idea.
