Three great folder actions

I have another good one that I use when I am doing web design. There is always a need to resize pictures so that the download sizes are acceptable and the site runs more efficiently. I have a folder action that will size pictures down to an acceptable size and append the name to "Sized_name of picture.jpg" works great and I know which ones to use.
Thinking about having it ask me what size to resize as 800 x 600 isn't always what I need.

But you don't need that to print "automatically".
Just put the printer icon from ~/Library/Printers in the dock and drag stuff to it. It'll try to print it. simpler, and less overhead. Same effect.

Nice list, though selecting "Compress X elements" in the right-click menu is way quicker than using a folder action for the same purpose, IMHO.

Is there a way to tweak the compress files automation to archive individually each files & folder added?

The problem with your solution as I see it is that it leaves the printer queue pane open, whereas Kirk's doesn't. I've added to Kirk's by dragging the 'Move Finder items to Trash' action into the workflow under 'Print Finder Items'. By copying (not moving) a file I want to print to the folder - I use Quicksilver to do this - I don't have a duplicate file after the printing is done.

The printing automator, sadly, doesn't work when files are saved directly to the folder. It works most of the time when a file is dropped into the folder, but sometimes not.
