Nice new functionalities and nice price (until July 31) but it still has one major flaw. Bento for Mac will only allow synchronization with one device - iPhone or iPad - and since I synchronize my Mac with Bento for iPhone the iPad app is pretty well useless for me. Looking forward to a possible iCloud synchronization solution from Bento.

My version syncs with up to 2 devices, and I in fact have it synced to both my iPhone and iPad - what version are you using?

If Bento could generate true stand-alone iOS apps, I imagine a huge wave of creative apps from non-programmers would be headed for the Apple Store.

Maybe I'm missing something. I haven't purchased Bento 4 for the iPad (yet), but I run Bento on the Mac & I sync it with 2 devices! (my iPad & my iPhone).
Are you saying the Mac won't sync with 2 devices once I purchase Bento 4 for the iPad? I have already updated (today) my Mac Bento so it will work with the new iPad edition (Bento 4 for the iPad).

I am using Bento 4, and syncing with both my iPhone and iPad also.

My apologies and I stand corrected. When I first purchased Bento 3 it would not allow me to sync both my wife's and my iPhones so I incorrectly assumed that I could not sync two devices. I just read the Bento 4 manual and it definitely syncs two devices but still not two iPhones (You can sync any two iOS devices with Bento for Mac. For example, you can sync one iPhone and one iPad, one iPhone and one iPod touch, or two iPads with Bento for Mac. Bento for Mac syncs one set of libraries across all connected devices.)

It can print PDFs that are stored in a Media field. As far as I can tell, that's it.

I'm still trying to get the initial Sync. Even the Genius people at the Apple store couldn't make it work.

Strangely enough thre's no notification on my iPod or in iTunes that this new version is available, even though I have Bento 3. I've noticed this with other apps as well: if a version has updates you're notified, but if there's a whole new version that requires a paid upgrade there's no notification at all. You only learn about it if you happen to visit the app's website or read a tech news source like Macworld.

I suppose if you are a registered owner/member that you get an email notification of the new application. I did.
