PIP has been around for quite a bit. Let's you assign a keyboard shortcut so you don't have to mouse up to the menu bar.

This is actually sounds like a nice program for one use... I work many days remotely from home accessing my iMac at work. While I've already found a program to completely dim the screen, it would be nice if I could quickly flip on the camera to see if anyone is in my office before I work on any sensitive projects. What I don't like is yet one more program that resided in the menu bar. at this minute over half the menu bar on my 24" iMac is covered with icons. And, Yes, I do use them all.
