Hi!
I have bought two iPads for my kids. While sitting in the car they would like to play movies using the car stereo. But to start them both at once (in order to synchronize the sound and the movies) is very difficult.

I was therefore wondering whether it was possible to use one of the iPads as "main player" and stream the picture to another iPad while playing the sound from the main iPad on the car stereo (cable)

Thanks in advance :)

Hi
There were AirPlay device emulation apps such as AirFrame and AirView, but Apple has banned / removed that type of app from the App Store. Although, ithey wouldn't help in your situation anyway as AirPlay works over Wi-Fi.

You would need an app that emulates a Bluetooth audio device. Bluetooth audio streaming is included in iOS, however, it doesn't work from iDevice to iDevice. The only time Bluetooth can connect iDevices is with games.

Ultimately, I don't have a specific solution to your problem, despite maybe getting a longer audio cable or extension.
