the 17inch built-in,
a 27 in Thunderbolt Display
a 27 in DisplayPort non-Thunderbolt Display
To pull this off, I needed to daisy chain thru a intermediate thunderbolt device other than the Apple Thunderbolt display. Not sure why. I happened to have a Pegasus R4 so it wasn't a problem.
Bottomline is that it works and works well even w/ last year's tech. I wonder if with two thunderbolt ports on this new macbook one could run 6 total displays:
4 DisplayPort displays off of the Thunderbolt jacks, the HDMI TV, and the built-in.
