Using Mac OS X 10.7.4. After creating a signature, when I open a PDF document in Preview and click on the Pencil image then on the S with a line underneath I get the same choices as when I created the signature:
"Create Signature from FaceTime HD Camera (Built-in)...."
"Manage Signatures"
After clicking on "Manage Signatures" I get the "Create Signature" button again.

This won't do for anything official. Example Real Estate Contracts require a secure electronic signature. Give us a better solution.

Yes,yes this is very cool but here's a new bug to be careful about.
I spent the best part of an hour filling in the editable fields in a PDF using Acrobat. When I finished, I saved it then opened it up in Preview, inserted the signature and POOF! All the enties I had made in Acrobat were gone! Just a big blank docoment with a signature at the bottom. Then to pour a little salt in the wound, I used the restore feature to get back to my original Acrobat PDF. In this version all the data as well as the location of the fields was gone. Time for a coffee and start all over.
