I agree that my downloads folder is a complete mess, but I don't see how altering the view of said mess will make any difference on how it's cleaned up. The word "overkill" comes to mind.
The day Micro$oft makes something that doesn't suck is the day they start making vacuum cleaners.

Guess I should have read the whole article befire buying this app. I was looking for something to help keep my downloads folder organized, unfortunately I do not use the default downloads folder within my Home directory.

Looks like it will be very helpful for those that do use the default folder.

First of all - why? Nevermind - it doesn't matter. Just use a symbolic link (not an alias) to point downloads to your preferred download folder: http://hints.macworl...001110610290643

My Downloads folder in the Finder looks much better for my use and many downloads than this so called Download. Who needs one more unnecessery app?

This is the kind of app I'd ordinarily try out and then decide, but since the app store has no such provision, and since I'm not sure this app is needed...sorry.
