A very belated thanks to Jason Snell on his article about the less than perfect Itunes software. I had come to the forum previously to mention many problems that I & other Apple users I have known have had related to this software. It almost seemed like I was getting the cold shoulder from most other users because I had the nerve to declare that something related to Apple could be less than perfect. One brave soul told me to ignore the negative comments which I was receiving & to keep on publishing my problem comments anyway.
After reading "Time to Right the Syncing Ship" I was relieved to see the # of other users with the same or similar problems. 3 of 4 Apple users which I know in my daily life all have such
similar problems that they have told me they plan to not bother adding music to their devices in the future & they have plans to buy other hardware in the future just to avoid using Itunes on their computers.
In my comment to your story I related how I had come to this forum to relate my experiences & was basicly kicked around for having done so.... And therefore my description of feeling as if I had entered into a circle of 'Moonies' who would not tolerate disagreement or negative feedback, even if it was from real experience.
True to form, I noticed that the next comment after mine had nothing to do with any of this. A reader left a comment calling me a 'troll' because of my feedback.
Apple needs to relate to it's faults. The true trolls on these forums are the users that attempt to stop other users from publishing not only their perfect experiences with Apple products & it's related softwate, but the details when things are obviously wrong.
For this alone, your honest article is worth a million bucks to me and could be worth a whole lot more to the designers at Apple should they decide to listen.

Based on your previous post here, I think it's possible you met with silence because the problems you describe are so far outside the norm that no one knew how to help you, and your presentation was overblown and insulting.
