Connect MacBook Air to projectors What adapters/options are there?

As a favour to my shoulder I just bought a MacBook Air 13" to replace a MacBook Pro.

A regular part of my working life is presenting, using whatever data projector is available at the site. At the moment I connect an adapter to the display miniport on the MBP but of course that is not an option on the MBA. I often encounter ceiling mounted units where only the VGA port has been extended to desk level. So, the question is: what is the best way to connect?
Mac Mini, Airport Express, Apple TV, iPhone, Time Capsule, iMac, MBP, iPad2, MBA

Right, I am an idiot. Thunderbolt uses the same physical spec as Mini-display port so I just keep using the same adapter that I do today.
Mac Mini, Airport Express, Apple TV, iPhone, Time Capsule, iMac, MBP, iPad2, MBA
