I have ordered a new Macbook Pro Retina Display (arriving in a few weeks --can't wait), and need to know if the "Macbook Air External Superdrive" will work with this computer. The Superdrive Air I have is new, but it isn't the absolute current model. (I know it is not compatible with the traditional Macbook Pros (without software modification), but since the new Retina models have flash memory, I was hoping it would work with it.) Anybody know the answer? If it won't work, I'll have to put the Superdrive on eBay or something.
Thanks.

It's not the flash memory that's the disciminator; it's the absence of a built-in optical drive. Yours should work fine.
