I have a critical question. Due to the metal construction of this phone, does it hinder the cellular reception at all?
there are several metal iPhone cases that looks amazing but blocks cellular reception.

In my experience, it did not alter/hinder my cell reception. This case is very lightweight, not made from hard, thick metal

Metallic case... there was no mention, there is a padding or something on the inside, right? A metallic case rubbing and sliding next to the metal antennae and/or the GLASS panel of the iPhone seems a mix for damage without dropping the phone.
