Does anyone have any suggestions on a good handheld combo presentation remote control and overhead laser pointer that can do PowerPoint, Keynote and iPhoto slideshows on a Mac?

I would like to get one that either has a rechargeable battery or can take Eneloops or other conventional AA or AAA batteries.

Thanks

P.S. -- I posted this here because I could no longer find the Macintosh Products Guide on Apple's web-site.Doeso MacWorld still offer a product & review search engine for computing accessories? I usually just read news stories on the main news page.

I don't have any suggestions for a laser pointer, but a great remote is the iPhone itself. You can use AirPlay Server on the Mac of you want to do an iPhoto Slideshow, and Keynote Remote ($0.99 on the App Store) for Keynote. I have no suggustions for PowerPoint, as I have never even used it.

The Apple Remote was a good option, bout some Macs no longer have the ability to use it.

Yeah, I was wondering about Apple-on-Apple solutions. A local volunteer recreational trails organization I belong to recently acquired a refurbished Epson projector at a great price. But they didn't get anything but the most basic accessories to go with it (power cable, projector remote, VGA cable, etc.) No laser pointer and no computer control for slideshows.

I've been browsing some of the various consumer products on the web, like Kensington's Presenter Pro Remote with Green Laser (link to Kensington's page) (video link), which promises numerous features, but there is an independent reviewer on YouTube that claims the quality is not there; apparently this person had problems with the battery cover on the remote. I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this.

With Apple now being all the rave with their ultra-portable laptops, I thought it would be easy to find an abundance of reviews and corroborated evidence to base a decision on. So far, my research seems to produce spotty results at best.
