We love all the Computers and gadgets Apple has designed to aid us be productive in our lives. But can they survive the power of the Sun, and a solar storm, a blast through space that can reach earth in less than nine minutes, and is strong enough to burn out a Electrical Power Grid, anywhere in the world.

It seems, the Military and NASA, can have hardened systems, on land, air, sea. Where everything we own and use, from our cars, our computers, our phones, our tablets, TV's and Radio's will become useless during a major event. Can the Electronic Industries, designers, developers, provide us, the devoted consumer with hardened devices, that can survive an EMP, without being stored in a grounded cage, or box.

Maybe the Postal Service is not obsolete after all, or even the Pony Express may make a comeback, so we can text each other. Maybe Apple will give it some thought!

Can we afford to not consider it, and wish it never happens?
