How about clearing the cache? Would that solve the problem?

Wouldn't clearing recent history also clear all the auto-fill-in information for each site you visit? That doesn't sound like a great idea.

Thought the same thing, if the info is stored in the cache why remove the history, and clearing them will remove all your stored password/log ins for sites on visits regularly, then again that may not be a bad idea if you're worried about someone snooping in your computer! It's one reason I use 1Password.
