I have an aging G4 Gigabit Ethernet Mac. My computer, two printers and my DSL modem are networked together via an Asante FriendlyNet 5 port ethernet switch. That setup has been absolutely trouble free.

Within the next few weeks I will be adding a new MacBookPro laptop (not the retina display model)that can be connected via the remaining port when I want it hard wired. What I want know is if there is some kind of adapter to add wireless connectivity for the MacBookPro to that port or am I going to to have to replace the switch with a router or a wireless switch?
