I have an old iMac running OS X 10.4.11 and OS 9.
I set up the TCP/IP for my network whilst in OS9 and then went back to OS X to set it up there. Each time I open the Network control panel to set the IP address I get a pop-up message that the settings have been changed by another application. Closing this pop-up window only results in it re-appearing.
I have run Disk Utility - Permissions and also repaired the disk using both Disk Utility (from DVD) and also Disk Warrior. I've also zapped the PRAM. Nothing seems to stop the error message. Ay ideas?
