I am to recieve my rMBP any day now, and one of the first things I'll do as an avid gamer is to install Windows 7 on it. However, this is the first time I'll do it on a Mac without a DVD drive, and therefore popped down to the electronics store to get a USB stick as the only one I had laying around was 2 GB. Eager to use all the new technology in my awesome new computer, I bought a USB 3.0 stick, but on my way home something came to my mind. I vaguely remember reading something about Windows having problems supporting USB 3.0, at least as an installation drive. (After all, this is a company that discarded support floppy disks not that many years ago)
So my short question is: is it a problem that the stick is USB 3.0? Should I return it and get a 2.0 instead?
Thanks in advance!
