Sigh... no cost per page or predicted cost per page. No indication if the printers continue Canon's excellent tradition of individual cartridges for each ink color.
And even though the cost per print is higher, the Selphy's are great little dye sublimation printers that excel at photographs - especially ones that you want to last. Part of it is due to the dye sublimation printing process itself, and part is due to the clear coat the printer puts on during the final pass. I own several and do photobooths at charity events that are always a big hit. Three of 'em pooled together (easy to do in Mac OSX) seem to keep up with the volume rather nicely.

I love using Canon's merchandise, I am looking into buying the canon all in one printers in NC. I am very excited to start using this and other devices they come out with.

The My Image Garden software is absolutely horrible. It's so unintuitive and clunky it's not funny. I do a lot of CD label printing and My Image Garden makes a simple task so difficult. There's not even a blank template, or an easy way to customize an existing template. Trying to figure out how to add a photo to a label is a mission in itself.
Luckily CD-LabelPrint from my previous printer is compatible. That was basic software that was easy to use.
