I hope Apple tacks on the equivalent price hike to cover bogus fine settlement they had to pay for name trademark infringement.

In Canada the iPad 2 price is $419, after 15% tax we pay out of pocket 482 Canadian dollar. As far as I know Chinese consumer don't pay as high of a tax so from the consumer point of view, it's roughly the same there in China.
