block texts and calls

I just want to ask how do I stop calls and texts from specific people on my iPhone.
I do not want to avail of this blocking feature from my provider as I want to avoid monthly fees for this. Can you recommend an app for this blocking? Do you know any settings for this? Thanks!

i dont think there's an iOS call blocker app.. android has Call Blocker, Call Control, Mr Number txt, call & block, Phone Call Blocker, and many more...

im not saying you to switch to android... it's just that, Apple needs to encourage more app developers...
