Eric Schmidt says lots of things, most of them are inscrutable. I just love this line though: "[But] in a long enough time period, do I think that this kind of regime approach will end? Absolutely.” Yeah, in a long enough time period Eric, lots of things can happen! Continents can drift from one side of the planet to the other!

Ironic considering Google's recent censorship on search results for firearms in the shopping search here in the United States. And don't forget the censorship (allowing the manipulation) of search results of certain presidential candidates.

Wonder how long before there is an * in Google's "Don't be evil" policy.

Lucky chineses.
If Eric had set a 6-month deadline, they would be in trouble...

The SS Don't Be Evil sailed long ago. Then it hit an iceberg. And sank.

I gues Eric Schmidt is drooling at the all the potential private information that he can cull, use, and apologize about using. :)

I tried to come up with something I care less about than the opinion of Eric Schmidt, and I'm at a total loss.

Schmidt making predictions is like Ballmer giving fashion advice.
