Up close with iOS 6

Enjoyed your Podcast on iOS 6 thoughts but would like to add a major missing feature that I didn't hear mentioned, namely in the area of Contacts Searches. Quite simply, there are vital features that were available in Palm OS over 10 years ago but still haven't been added to iOS, the single most important being a global search which includes searching in Contacts' Notes. Often a user's Address Book/Contact database contains crucial information in notes which can be found when in OS X on the Mac but which is not findable when using an iPhone or iPad. This is a crazy oversight.
A second related feature is being able to limit an Address Book/Contact database search to a single field. For instance, I arrive in Atlanta on a 3 hour flight connection and I have a few minutes to kill and would like to call those whom I know who live in Atlanta. In the Palm OS, you could search for Atlanta in the City field, but alas in OS X and iOS you can't.
Finally, Searching in general in Contacts needs enhancements like wild characters and limiting characters. Said another way, if I want to search for a multi-word target, I should be able to limit the search to the group of terms together, and avoid being shown targets which include only part of the search term. There should be a way to search for "red truck" and avoid finding "red" by itself.
