There's no evidence of any "##########" password in the list.

Please note that the use of "jesus" or "jesus1" is not necessarily a religious connotation. Surely at least a few of the almost 500,000 users were of a Spanish or Hispanic background and could simply have been using their own name or their father's for their password. "jesus" (you know... like in Die Hard 4 when Bruce Willis kept calling Samuel Jackson: 'Hey Zeus'" is not necessarily the same as the son of God.

So how do we check the list of half a million addresses to see if we are on it?

I find 1 Password (https://agilebits.com/onepassword) and Password Assistant (http://www.macworld....dassistant.html) to be indispensible.

"dontforget" change your passwords (and even the username) often.

A lesson I learned well in my youth when I called up a guy selling an Upright Bass and called him Jesus instead of "Hey-sus". As the adage goes "you learn something new everyday" and I have not forgot what I learned on that day...

Using search functionality should cut down on the time it takes.

If Jesus can't keep your password safe, who can? Maybe "KALI" or uncle "JORGE". Honestly, our passwords are really quite personal; not just for keeping our accounts safe but what they say about us. Even if 400 people use the same password, there's a myriad of reasons it was chosen.

I don't even know what my passwords are thanks to random generation in 1 Password. It's a little tedious recalling the passwords when on my iOS devices, but the browser plugins on the Mac are simple to use. Automatic syncing via DropBox makes it that much easier. I highly recommend a password keeper software instead of the same password on EVERYTHING!
