Mine worked fine on my mac pro for about a week, then started fading in and out of the bluetooth connection even when my magic track pad had no such issues with the bluetooth connection. So Logitech is sending me another one. Meantime back to the K750 which never skips a beat since it has it's own dongle. I'm not convinced Apple BT was the way to go here for mac use.

Any comment on how this keyboard pairs with a Windows laptop for switching between MBP and a Windows machine? Or how the K750 pairs via multiple unifying receivers to a Windows and Mac setup? Curious to find a solution for working from 2 distinct systems with 1 wireless set.

Own it and love it. Logitech did a good job with the way it looks and works. I like the subtile touches to keep it from bouncing when typing, to make it look like aluminum (much better than the Matias) and even the cost.

Well done, Logitech.

Proofreading police alert:
I think your last bullet point should read "In OS X, eject the optical drive" not "in iOS, eject the optical drive"

Thanks for the review. Trying to convince myself it's worth it, though I use the full size wired Apple keyboard on my iMac; couldn't take not having the number pad. Would like for my iPad though, and love the switch to bluetooth.

Good catch. Corrected!

I bought the one with the numbers pad & LOVE IT! One of the best non-Mac for my Mac purchases I have ever made.

Why oh why did they drop the keypad and extra function keys? I use the K750, and love it, but really want the bluetooth capability and the ability to link to three devices.... but i MUST have a numeric keypad. I second the comment about the old DiNovo keyboard being better... Still the best keyboard i've ever used, no question. Love apple's keyboards, but i want a keypad and no wire.

For this particular keyboard, it's likely because it's aimed at Mac and iOS, so it needs to be somewhat portable. I'd love to see a similar keyboard based on the K750, though.

The thing I really hate about current BlueTooth (BT) devices is the Paring. Even a 3 second wait is undesirable, but a 10 second wait is unbearable, especially when your BT devices lose contact for no apparent reason and need to re-establish Paring. My Apple BT mouse sometimes loses contact with my iMac, and for that reason I got the wired Apple keyboard (which is a real joy to use because of that wire).

Logitec would have gotten better battery life and ELIMINATED PAIRING altogether had they used BlueTooth 4. And since BT4 is backward compatible, it cannot be said that they had to use the older BT spec to be compatible with a broader array of devices.

What is it with devices manufacturers refusing to support vastly superior BT4? We've got the iPhone 4S, MacBook Air, iPad 3 and other Apple devices now support it. Yet where are the BT4 devices? Currently not from Logitec, sadly.

I want a keyboard for my iMac that has back lit keys and looks like a stock keyboard or like the logitech one.

I've got a 750. Command-F2 on an Apple keyboard sends a Mac into Target Display mode, but isn't recognized on the 750. Is it recognized on the 760?

I need a number keypad. I'd like a wireless keyboard. Why can't I get what I want?

The K750, linked in this review, is wireless and has a keypad.
