Dear Macworld,

I just wanted to thank you for not posting the story on piracy that was going around the internet today. I appreciate your integrity, especially as a developer. Thank you very much.

I'm not sure why you think they should have ignored it.

"Macworld is the premier source for news, reviews, help and how-to, videos, and podcasts for the Apple market, including the Mac, Mac software, Mac OS X, the iPod and iTunes, and the iPhone."

The fact of the event certainly qualifies as news. Certainly it's good if they take some time to verify and/or clarify what's happening - which perhaps explains the relative delay in posting - but if they're a journalistic entity, I'd argue they'd be irresponsible to not cover it.

Other websites such as MacRumors, 9to5Mac, and a quite few other included the link to the website - inviting users to pirate IAPs. Macworld did not do this, and for that, I respect them.
