Because the whole point of certificate encryption is to prevent man in the middle attacks?

Ah but it isn't a 'man in the middle attack'. It requires USERS to direct their devices TO the spoofing server.

While I certainly don't approve of this theft I will say this... the introduction of in-app purchases was the biggest bunch of CRAP they ever came up with. There are untold amount of apps out there where it's CLEAR that the developer hobbled their software so they could turn it into a money sponge.

I'm a musician and I'm to start selling my songs without vocals and guitar. It's going to cost you 99 cents per instrument to get the full mix and 99 cents a minute to hear the whole song... but the song is FREE!!!! :)

Apple hiring him would do several things: take a talented hacker and turn his allegiance to helping Apple rather than attacking them; allow Apple to have him sign an NDA; and give them leverage over him by giving him a cushy, prestigious job that they can threaten to take away if he acts in any way not in Apple's interests.

I actually think Borodin's got a fair chance of being hired...

Oh what a great idea.
At the same time, we can have banks etc give cushy, prestigious jobs to all those pesky robbers, fraudsters and other layabouts so that they wont attack them. Then we can also reduce the size of police forces etc. That'll reduce our taxes too. Fantastic.

Yeah the bank's and the FBI did that his name is Frank Abagnale Jr. So I guess your sarcasm didn't work out like you intended it to this time. Better luck next time!
