This is seriously getting out of hand now. This just goes to show that the patent system is totally screwed up. Think about how much money these companies would be saving if they were not suing every other company out there! I just wish they would all stop with this crap. Our courts should be serving other purposes and not solving these issues with every tech company out there who ever wanted to slap a patent on anything. Sheesh.

Not really. All it shows is that some companies cough... HTC... cough abuse the patent system to steal ideas instead of innovating.

I can not fathom just how much further ahead electronics both hardware and software would be today if all the resources spent on patent litigation both in monetary and manpower were not needed in court but spent on R & D.
