Is this different from any other browser? It's Google that chooses to be oh-so generous with our search info — I don't see how it can be Mozilla's fault.

This isn't any different from any other browser. People are vilifying Mozilla because they noted SSL search as a feature, when the implementation is in reality almost entirely Google's.
