In related news, rock star Neil Young and the relatively unknown musician Sam Sung, are also suing the Asian giant for ‘name infringement.’

Remember a couple of decades ago when the former Robert Zimmerman sued Apple over the name of a programming language they had created?

I had to turn to Google to refresh my memory. I was reminded of the Dylan programming language and then I remembered reading about it in the now-defunct ‘develop’ magazine.

I followed Dylan for a bit (tried it a little), but it dropped off my radar and I vaguely recall Bob Dylan suing Apple. I also think there was a minor flap over the irony they used his likeness during their outcasts & misfits ad campaign.

Then there was the Sagan saga.

Copland died before Apple could be sued for by Copland for Copland, which was killed off 6 years after Copland died.

Let the lawyers figure that one out...

Apple should have sued him back in the stead of the Dylan Thomas family! ;)
It all gets so frivolous some times.
Just saying!
