Just upgraded to mountain lion, and after a few hours of use, a Recovery HD Folder appeared, with a No Entry icon at the bottom.

The Folder cannot be opened, deleted, get info, moved around... nothing.

Any help on how to remove it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I would try rebooting in the recovery mode (hold down Cmd-R). Select Disk Utility, repair permissions, then repair disk and reboot. Can't hurt anything.
