If you're interested in broadcasting iTunes audio (or audio from any application(s) on your computer) to other computers on your home network, Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil is a great solution: http://www.rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/
There are apps for OS X, Windows, and iOS.

...and I think Airserver (http://www.airserverapp.com/) will allow you to broadcast to other computers, too. Launched on startup, it integrates with the Airplay icon in iTunes, so in some ways it is a neater solution than Airfoil (which DOES work very well, you just have to fire up a separate app to broadcast the music)

Another great place for free music is Amazon.
Go to the mp3 store, and search for mp3's by price. The lowest range you get is $1.99 to $2.99, but all you have to do is type in "0" in the first box.
Then reorder the selections from "Price: low to high" and you will receive a HUGE list.
Of course, the quality will vary, but you can be guaranteed of finding stuff you like.
