If the stylus wasn't so pricey, I might be interested. Maybe they'll make a cheaper model.

Finally something sensible arrived! Have been a loyal Animation Desk user but it's lack of touch pen support really hinders me from creating better works. I personally don't care too much for the Retina Display support. The quality and beauty of hand-drawn animations generated by the app is simply unparalleled. The nice combo of Jot Touch and the app makes it really stand out in this market. The pen helps a great deal, especially with the details that I want to show in my drawings. This combo deal arrives just in time for the annual animation competition held by the developer, I'm ready to win something.

The offset with the Jot is extremely minimal. I quite like it for drawing thin lines and drafting. There's a little offset as you come closer to the corner edges, due to the construction of the iPad, but it's negligible. Unfortunately, you can't lean your hand against the iPad's surface without something like a Hand Glider (http://www.thehandglider.com).

" I'd like to know a little about your app before I send you our SDK. I'll also need you to sign an NDA to protect all the hard work we have put into building the Jot Ready SDK."

The pressure sensitivity at this time is only set for opacity. No override is available yet to assign this setting to brush size.
Also the levels of sensitivity is not registering on my stylus. Maybe it defective. The manufacturer said the apps are partially responsible for this since the apps sets the limit to how well it "reads" the stylus.
Until the apps catch up with this stylus I would pass for now. I can see why Adonit, the manufacturer took so long to release this. I can only guess the other competitors will be releasing theirs soon and Adonit wanted to get a jump on sales.
