Some of the newer Vizio TV remotes are indeed harder to press than older ones, without comparing old remote to new remote. New in box our newest TV & remote give us a lot of unrecognized presses and double presses. (which is a pain as it takes the TV a while to respond, then says channel 7910 not available, so try again 79-0, and finally 79-10, huray). To that extent that we've kept an older remote around with the newer TV.
The new remotes also lack some of the convenient dedicated buttons for inputs, pip switching, cc, etc. Those functions now require on to go through the menu, or cheat by using with an older remote.
