Who remembers a little more than a decade ago when eMachines introduced a computer that was virtually identical to the original iMac - down to the translucent sheath on the power cord and the "simulated screen image" in print ads sometimes actually being a Mac screen shot - and defending the design by claiming it was the natural appearance of an all-in-one computer (two decades of alternative form factors and coloring notwithstanding)?
The translated memos, if they stand up to scrutiny, mentioned halfway through the article are probably killers.

Samsung innovator...LOL! They started by copying Sony's TVs and Apple's PCs, then iPod, iPhone, and iPad! Where's the innovation? All they do is copy and pay less to their workers in order to compete with cheaper products. Anyway, Samsung will soon self-implode due to fights between one of the founders and his sister in law, who now controls a big chunk of the Chaebol. Add to that, all their little kids playing businessman with their own little products and services using the same name and splitting the company even more. My guess? Five years 'till we see it crumbling to pieces.

Buy American kids! In Korea, every single American product is under constant attack by the Korean media which is controlled by the big Chaebols! Meat, cars, electronics, even detergent! It doesn't have to be Apple, buy Motorola, GE, or whatever, but American! Stop making other ungrateful countries rich. And, if it doesn't say "made in USA," don't buy it! I know, tough, but something or someone's gotta give.

Whenever I read about Samsung claiming to be an innovator, I just look at this photo:
http://todayilearned...d-after-iphone/
Before the iPhone, Samsung phones were all copies of Blackberries, Palm Treos and Nokia whatnots. After the debut of the iPhone, well, the photo speaks for itself. Enjoy!
