I did fairly well on blackboards in my youth. Not that well, though.

Note from the past: after a large jug of concentrated hydrochloric acid is dropped and spilled in a classroom, the slate blackboards become impossible to erase until LOTS of time and chalk are spent breaking them in again from scratch. (The room had multiple exits and was evacuated quickly and without obvious problems.)
