I like to keep some icons on the very top of the display - to get at 'em quickly. Some of them are missing. How do I get them put back up there? These are the little ones in the 'bar' across the top after I click on any thing, and open it. Thx

It would help if you told us what items are missing from the Menu Bar. It could be that what you're looking for did not load when you started your Mac the last time. But you need to tell us what is missing.

What has disappeared are the gmail and calendar notifications that used to be up there. I cannot find 'whose' bar that is on the very top of the scree. It's the bar that has the 'apple' or Firefox, or finder, etc on it. How do I get stuff to 'stick' up teere, like a clock, network, sound, icons that are still up there. THANKS!

That bar at the top is the Menu Bar. That's part of Mac OS.

What you're missing is Google Notifier icons for G-Mail and Google Calendar. Look in your Applications folder and look for Google Notifier. If you have it double click on the icon to start the Google Notifier application. When it opens you can click on Enable Google G-Mail Notifications, then enable Google Calendar Notifications.

If you don't find Google Notifier in your applications folder, you can do a system search for it to see if it's misplaced or download it again at the this link. http://toolbar.googl...tifier_mac.html

Google Notifier does not come with Mac OS so you must have downloaded it previously and set it up as I just instructed.
