I'm looking for a new case for my Retina iPad. My priorities are:
-professional (I use my iPad in meetings with rich, boring people, so no designer prints or obnoxious armor plating)
-versatile (in addition to work, I like reading news in bed on my iPad when I wake up or propping it on my leg when I'm traveling)
-durable (I'm borderline abusive with my computers, lots of throwing into back seats, spills and mishaps)
Finally, I don't really need a keyboard.
Looking forward to suggestions.

If you have not already gotten one, then I have used the equivalent of this one for the original iPad:
http://www.zoogue.co...-leather-cases/
It works well. It is on the bulky side, but if you want protection, then an iPad case will need to be bulky.
[soapbox]Back up = good...No back up = bad[/soapbox]

Im guessing you have probably got a few cases by now but I have to say even though the cases from ZooGue mentioned above are good cases, their newest Prodigy is so awesome. It uses a magnetic kickstand instead of velcro so it looks really professional and has 6 different angles that it can be adjusted to, I have to say its the best all around case I have used.
