... Among iPad owners app availability got 8.1 and price received a 7.2 rating. That compares to Android and Kindle Fire owners who rated price as more important—7.9 and 8.1—than the availability of applications—7.3 and 7.5—according to comScore. ...

I'm sure that nobody is surprised by these figures, regardless of your opinions or preferences... but the question which can't really be answered by this kind of survey is: Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Are the iPad owners trying to justify the high price that they've already paid? And likewise, are the Android/Kindle users also trying to justify their purchase, now that they've realized that it really isn't as polished as Apple's iOS, and really doesn't have as many great apps?
No... no revelations there. That said... I'd have to say that the customer satisfaction ratings at the end of this article are actually the most telling statistics, particularly when you compare the Kindle rating to the rest of the Android market. Clearly, Amazon has figured out how to squeeze the most juice out of that Android beast...

Nothing to see here folks... move along.
I mean really, can't it be assumed that most owners of Apple products buy their products for usability, selection, support and overall satisfaction over price? Considering Apple's products usually cost more than comparable brandX competitors, this is a given. I drink Sam Adam's because it tastes better than Bud Light. It's almost twice the price, therefore price is not the #1 factor when choosing the more expensive beer. You can probably plug these results into any comparison which involves a high-end and low-end item.

The day Micro$oft makes something that doesn't suck is the day they start making vacuum cleaners.
