I've been using a similar product called the SmudgeGuard for several years now. I originally bought it to work on my ModBook and Cintiq but as you say it also works great with an iPad. It's also cheaper than the hand glider, and no, I don't work for them, I'm just a happy user and thought it should be mentioned.

Their gloves do not work with iPads yet.

My fault, you are correct. I assumed they would but just tried it out and it doesn't work properly.
Still works great for a Cintiq but I guess you have to pony up if you want to buy a glove for the iPad.
