Hello. I have found out that backing up manually (right clicking my iphone from the lab on the left and then 'back up') is faster than waiting for iTunes to backup automatically after clicking the update button. So, I resorted to backing up my phone manually before updating.
The problem here is that the automatic back up still comes up every time I click update. How do I disable the automatic backup?

PS. I wonder what the difference between the manual and automatic backup is. If these two processes do the same thing to my phone, then why does the automatic one take longer?

PS2. Does the backup include voice memos and pictures and videos taken?
