One should sign up for Apple's security messages. Or just Believe, of course.

I wasn't impressed with Lion 10.7 so I reverted to SL. While $20 is cheap for ML 10.8, my Mac Book can't run it but my iMac can. I don't care to run different OS's on my Macs because I do a lot of sharing between them. Apple, you're really starting to pi$$ me off....

Chrome works great under SL. More stable than Safari, for me, in both SL & ML.

Yep, same problem here. I did a quick search and I can see we're not the only ones who have this problem.

Like Final Cut, Apple broke something that was doing fine and just as Premiere got a huge leap from this debacle Lightroom is scoring points for being a professional program that doesn't treat you like an idiot.

If Apple were to do photo and video streaming and sharing, I would expect it to be of a quality and effects on par with a major movie production, not a $4 tablet app written for 5th graders.
With no other innovations other than this flood of sharing crap-ware pasted onto every Apple app, it appears Apple has run out of ideas. With that extra $1 billion for R&D last year, it makes it even more apparent they have nothing left.

huzzam, it's not just Safari... Apple's migration away from SL started with Aperture 3.4... I can't understand Apple's stance to force Mac users to upgrade to the newest OS just to get updates/upgrades to Apple software we already have. Adobe's Lightroom 4 still supports OS 10.6, but it's too expensive for me (plus, it's Adobe - which is a minus). Look like I'll be learning Canon's free Digital Photo Professional software....

Its nice that Apple holds down the outright purchase price but when a previous version is worth nothing toward the upgrade I have to wait on discretionary purchases until the new version is released.
