Hello Folks.

Here is my "problem".

While I'm at home, my Macbook sits comfortably at his desk, in my room.

In the afternoon after my nap I like to watch some movies os series. They're all on my Mac. And of course, I don't want to get up and walk all the way to my room to turn the airplay on.

So here is the thing: Can I turn my Mac's airplay on, using my iPad or iPhone ? Is there any other way than remote access ?

Hope I could explain it...

Thanks guys !!!

Use Home Sharing.

If you turn on Home Sharing on your Mac, then you can "setup" Home Sharing in the iPad's settings using the same Apple ID. Then, you should get a "shared" tab in the both the Videos and Music apps on the iPad that will allow you to watch/listen to your movies, TV shows, and music on the computer.

This, of course, assume the computer is on and the computer and iPad are on the same network.

And you can just leave Home Sharing on...should not really "hurt" anything.
