Replacing android tablets with iPad minis is a smart move?

Think again, these people will call Apple stupid for doing so, they owned android tablets because they chose and want to.

After the tsunami hit Japan last year, Apple offered free repairs of Apple products in the hardest hit areas and was one of the corporations to offer free wifi service to remote regions. Because the entire infrastructure was wiped out, the shortage of information was a major concern to the survivors. The donations through iTunes helped bring food and the repair/wifi support helped bring piece of mind. I think those people will buy another Apple product after they get back on their feet.

I'd bet a majority of Android tablets are purchased because they can't afford an iPad. Cost is one of the main reason Android has a big chunk of the market. It'll be interesting to see how much the iPad mini turns that around.
