Community reference!

There are lots of stupid people out there but the worse are the analysts that manipulate the stock price.

Marketplace is a production of American Public Media (formerly Public Radio International), not NPR.

Not to give much credence to the interview held in court with Sobotta....the first three letters of his last name perfectly describe him. Not a character assassination but having personally worked with him...he's a big bully and baby, if one can imagine. Having been verbally attacked by him, the whining on other issues was just as much of an eye opener.

Somehow this interview is his latest effort to insert himself further into the Apple opinion forums, which of course isn't illegal. Perhaps his effort to build his own readership on his opinions have not been as lucrative and doing a hit piece is his effort to gain a foothold. Too bad he's going towards the dark side, but it's not a surprise.

I was following Sobotta's blog and he mainly bash Apple most of the time, maybe a great place for the trolls to hangout.

Yes I stop reading his trash and can't be bother with whatever he is doing.

Sobotta's a perfect soulmate for Lyons. He's deeply embittered by changes in Apple's focus from enterprise to consumer and from resellers online sales company stores. For years he's been rehashing his self pitying story in which he was victimized by Apple's shortsightedness in not grasping how awesome he was as a sales manager - in spite of Apple's mismanagement. He's like a lover pining away for someone who dumped him and moved on very happily to someone younger, hipper, richer and better looking. He gave Apple the best years of his life and all he got was a drawerful of t-shirts

"resellers TO online sales AND company stores"

Sure would be nice to have preview and edit features.

Macworld should stop calling themselves a magazine so the Macalope can garner a Pulitzer Prize in Journalism – Explanatory Reporting category (yes, this is a real category).

Dear Macalope,
you would never endure the comments of real people in Germany (about Apple)((not about you))
(((i'm sorry, but you are not outright famous in Germany))).
Appleusers are realy unliked these days.
Ten years ago we were just freaks (strange humans with strange laptops).
But today everyone tell you to stop and get a decent..
Samsung phone/TV.
Something better/cheaper/saner...
Try your best in the U.S.A..
We will survive...

I think Apple people have a ringside seat, every night, watching how stupid our culture is -- or, rather, our business culture. Dumb, dumb, worse than a thousand Apple-bashers.

Do people believe this stuff? Yes they do. Without the Macalope refuting them the distortions and lies would go un answered.
